The Very Definition of Punk Rock
Posted by: Keir Graff

So I spent yesterday with my family, sunning on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan (no, I’m not being ironic — it really is beautiful). There’s always good people-watching at the lake. My favorite sight yesterday? It had to be the guy (my age-ish) walking from group to group, hoping to find an opener for the bottle of white wine he was hiding under his shirt. Readers, he was wearing a Black Flag T-shirt.

How is that book-related? Well, I had a book with me — Ian Rankin’s Watchman – does that count?

Watch this space for more random anecdotes justified by book titles.
