The Glamour of a Writing Career

What with two sick kids and a handful of deadlines, half the week has passed without a post on my part. I’ve been saving up the good stuff, but I have a conference call in 15 minutes, so I won’t get to the good stuff today. I will, however, link to this very funny book trailer I saw on Galleycat, for Head Case: How I Almost Lost My Mind Trying to Understand My Brain, by Dennis Cass (HarperCollins, 2007). I see a lot of book trailers and most of them make me think of the old “you’ve got a face for radio” line–some great writers don’t come across so great on the small screen. But Cass should consider a career in standup:
