Alexie reads it and at first you think what is this as his cadence and speech patterns are a bit different. But then the story and his reading totally suck you in.

His interview on Nancy Pearl’s podcast was so good that it got me motivated to read The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian — excellent book and definitely not only for young adults.
