Over at the Christian Science Monitor‘s Chapter & Verse blog, Marjorie Kehe has this to say about BookSwim:
They’re calling it “Netflix for books” and the most surprising thing about it is that no one has tried it before.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, someone has tried this before. As previously noted by your humble blogger, Booksfree.com beat them to it by oh…let’s see…I guess that would be seven years. (And that was a year and a half ago.) Not that I’d expect a blogger from a prestigious newspaper to be familiar with the Google, but I imagine that they might have some other tools at their disposal. And, using those tools, they might discover that, not only is the idea not brand-new, the field is getting a bit crowded.
