Given a choice of category, Ian suggested we try Mystery, to take advantage of my “mystery expertise.”
“That’s torn it!” said Lord Peter Wimsey.
“I’m more of a crime fiction guy than sleuthing,” I protested. “You know, books with shotguns in them.” Nonetheless, although the name Wimsey rang a bell, my guess of “Mortimer” proved to be a shot in the dark that went far wide of the mark.

There was a boy named Milo who didn’t know what to do with himself–not just sometimes, but always.
Again, the youth books wheelhouse. They had no problem whatsoever with this one by Just Norton, or Nort Juster, or whatever he’s called.
