Seems to me it would be equally insulting to make the list due to your popularity as an author but the list maker can’t be bothered to first read your book, half illustrated, that takes an hour to read. Obviously the guy doesn’t spend much time around middle schoolers. Still, I’m thrilled for Kinney to make the list and so are Wimpy fans everywhere.

Kinney might be the sole sole author–or does he have a day job? Lots of famous people “write” books; it’s much harder to get famous by writing books.

But wait, Kinney is not the sole author on the list. Don’t forget that Ted Kennedy wrote a children’s book about his Portuguese water dog called My Senator and Me. (I wonder if there’s room for pets on the spaceship?)
