This might be fun if they were to do a prequel – the young Miss Marple – and answer questions like why was never married and so on. I’d love to see a period peice with a young, self assured woman who is beginning to develope the powers of obsurvation that make the stories Agatha Christie wrote so interesting and timeless.

I’d actually buy Garner as a grown-up Nancy Drew…that has possibilities. And I did like her in Alias.
