		<description><![CDATA[Oh man, do I ever love that Kleinzahler smackdown: &quot;...a sort of Spoon River Anthology as presented by the Hallmark Hall of Fame...&quot; is the best description of Prairie Home Companion that I&#039;ve ever come across, despite unjustly maligning Edgar Lee Masters.

I actually read the Almanac&#039;s daily email, which surely must be the better alternative (I&#039;ve never heard the radio show) without Keillor&#039;s self-important baritone - but still is mostly mediocre, especially with its recent emphasis on historic events that have no connection at all to literature.]]></description>
