2011 Thriller Award Nominees

ThrillerFest VI is underway as we speak in New York City, with thriller authors, thriller readers, and thriller publishing types converging to share the chills and thrills of page-turning fiction. The 2011 Thriller Awards will be announced tomorrow—the nominees are listed below. Based on the Booklist reviews, I’d say Best Hardcover Novel should be a race between Michael Connelly’s The Reversal and Mo Hayder’s Skin, and Best First Novel should be between Paul Doiron’s The Poacher’s Son and Chevy Stevens’ Still Missing. But what do we know? When it comes to the suspense-filled world of literary awards, the ending is always anyone’s guess!
