It’s Halloween season, and this book’s subject is called Boo, but who’s afraid of The World’s Cutest Dog (election date unknown)? Not my unnamed coworker, who exclaimed “Hahahaah! Yayay!!! This makes me sooooo happy!” when s/he first caught a glimpse of our fluffy hero’s debut book trailer.

Does Boo also make you “sooooo happy!”? Or do you think the filmmaker has put inappropriate emphasis on Boo’s ability to write his own book, negotiate contracts, and ride elevators solo? It seems that only yesterday Boo was just one of many dogs with a dream, a kibble-spattered manuscript in his eensie-weensie paws. Reminder to us all: Think big.
