The Heartland Prize, given to one nonfiction and one fiction author, awards works “embodying the spirit of the nation’s heartland.” Here are the winners!

One Response to “Chicago Tribune Book Prizes”
  1. Mary Landreth Says:

Our Book Club read Freedom and we all thought it was awful. Probably the worst book we read last year! No one cared about the characters at all! Judging from some of the Book Club write ups in the Trib, we were not alone!
