Book Trailer Thursday’s Month of Mystery comes to a close with Matthew Quirk’s debut thriller The 500–read the Booklist high-demand, starred review here. 20th Century Fox bought the book’s screen rights over a year ago, which presumably upped the ante for this trailer replete with cash, cocaine, disembodied bare legs, and foreboding flames.

Since I don’t yet see an IMDB.com page for The 500, perhaps Fox would appreciate our casting advice. Suggestions for the lead role? Or the owner of those legs?
