Book Trailer Thursday: Size 12 and Ready to Rock

It seems like only yesterday we were blogging a trailer inspired by a now defunct cable TV show, and yet…
At first, the Pop Up Video-style trailer for the ever-popular Meg Cabot’s Size 12 and Ready to Rock doesn’t appear to be a book trailer at all–it’s a video for “former teen pop star turned residence hall assistant director,” protagonist Heather Wells’ new single “Sugar Rush.” But, it turns out those “info nuggets” (official term) actually contain plot points. Clever, Cabot. Very clever.
It might not be my favorite song, or even my favorite song where a guy does a smooth-as-sandpaper rap solo at the end, but I give Meg Cabot major novelty points for riffing on a not-so-new idea.
